Nardstar* is a Cape Town graffiti and mural artist. Her work is based on traditional graffiti with a fresh spin. She uses of a strong colour palette with doses of cubism, articulation and a sensitivity.
She has had many accomplishments in the past couple of years – collaborations with Cape Town graffiti pioneer, Falko One on his Splitpiece mural project in Darling and worked with the likes of Converse, Molotow, Adidas – just to name a few. Besides working on the streets, she also lit up a gallery quite recently with a joint exhibition called Core, which was really well received.
Plain and simply, NARDSTAR is a multi-talented artist that can cater for all needs, whether it is on a street, gallery or corporate level.
