Nuart is an annual international street art festival established in 2001 with a focus exclusively on Street Art since 2005. The Festival is based in Stavanger on the West Coast of Norway. In addition to a multitude of both sanctioned and unsanctioned public art works, Nuart also stages one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the year. But apart from all the labels and flashes Nuart has managed so far to win nothing but respect and admiration from visitors and even distant followers. In content it has achieved just what every festival wants to achieve. Despite the geographical isolation Stavanger transforms, those few days, into an unexpected art gallery that is as public as it can get.
The sensation of art flowering in the most unexpected corners is very exciting. The walls picked, are scattered across this quiet city, all with top class creations that engage the public into a surealistic sensation. Enough said for now, take a first peak into Nuart 2014. We hope to soon bring more walls from this exciting event.
