Galerie MathGoth presents a solo show exhibition by David Walker who creates a “New language for contemporary portrait.”
The title “Alchema Spectra” is a reference to the experimental nature process by David Walker and his use of color.
“When I start a portrait, I simply leave a photo. I selected palette over canvas. As in some colorsappear obvious. I don´t do sketches. all is performed directly, without a net. There is no cheating while is on acanvas, even the traces of struggles. If from the start I knew where this paint will take me.”
The opening will take place Friday, June 5 from 18:00 in the presence of the artist.
