From the 24th of July up to the 26th a special street art event took place in the old city of Valletta in Malta. And in case you didnt know, it was not the first event organised by this bunch of passionate art lovers. Its happened before. The difference is that this year it rocked the stones out of Malta’s pretty coast.
The MSAFestival ran with an exciting international artist line up and plenty of ongoing events for 3 days as the sun would start to set. All the ingredients required for a successfull event where present. Great location, loud music, cold beer and a large set of participating artists including musicians, cyclists, performers and markets. As the boiling temperatures of the day would start to fall and darkness arrived, each day, new vibes would start to emerge.
Young and old, rapidly arrived mostly browsing at the numerous artworks on their way to the main music stage. There was no way one could resist stopping at the BMX & Skate park which was constantly busy with bikes and skateboard devils flying and landing in most cases smoothly.
As time passed, new hotspots emerged. Dj sets, small bands, friendly introductions occuring all over the place and even a Mini Malta Comic Convention. And all that while a bunch of talented street artists created their own little masterpieces! Enjoy the pics
