On the 40th anniversary of Pasolini’s murder, Frederico Draw, a very talented street artist from Portugal, unveiled his very realistic and descriptive portrait of the Italian director, writer and intellectual who became a controversial figure of the last century. The mural is located on the post-industrial ruins of the former Mira-Lanza factory on the Tiber shores in Rome, just in front of the India Theater.

Using spray cans as if they were pencils, Draw realized his first portray depicting a well-known countenance, as he usually sketches anonimous faces inspired by his friends and relatives. This work has been realized thanks to Forgotten Project, a brand new street art festival in Rome that brings Portuguese street artists to paint on several neglected buildings scattered throughout the whole city.
