As part of its first Parisian solo show entitled “Mutant Rainbow Nation” Mademoiselle Maurice presents new works to Mathgoth Gallery, inspired by one of the oldest arts popular in the world origami, Japanese word meaning “folding of paper “.

You could see his creations intra and extramural in many cities in France and abroad.
Distilling a visual poetry composed of tiny pigmented parts, Mademoiselle Maurice is distinguished by a vitamin palette to transpose origami, this meticulous and delicate art in the context of the street: an unprecedented challenge that the artist since 2010 with papivore energy is known.

“Mutant Rainbow Nation” is for our civilization changing, birds folded representative (among others) of Aboriginal resistance to globalization.
The creations of Mademoiselle Maurice contain a decidedly positivist message building a bridge – the famous rainbow sky – us citizens “embitumés” and these men and women who live in harmony with the flora and fauna, our modes life constantly undermine.
Miss Maurice does not challenge his contemporaries on the ratio of human to its environment: it offers a pure and primitive form of connectivity between people.
The opening is scheduled at a key anniversary in this colorful journey on 11 March, five years after the double disaster caused by the tsunami and the accident Fukushima nuclear.
