The new piece by Gola Hundun titled Risveglio (Awakening) was painted on the wall of a primary school in Catanzaro. The school dedicate its gymnasium to Pino Puglisi, killed by sicilian mafia in the 90’s. The piece represent the time of the awakening of the natural organisms which define the form of the circle, historical symbol of the cyclic nature. The shape of a deer stands out inside the piece symbolizing for the ancient cultures the meaning of the renaissance. So the italian artist create a new parallelism with the awakening from the code of silence that for such a long time marked out these beautiful lands.
