After a year, Impronte restarted with a new intervention, as always in Bonito (Avellino), a little town deep in the in the heart of Irpinia in Italy, and once more, curated by Collettivo Boca. This year Alex Senna gave a new energy to the city with his poetic world, which provides a popular tell disseminated of symbols picked from a child imagination, in most cases drawn toward a poetic black and white.

From 2011, Collettivo Boca has hosted several artists who left their marks in the city, Nemo’s, Collettivo Fx, Diego Miedo, Davide Arp, Bosoletti, Carlos Atoche, Poki and the artists from Impronte 2017 – 5 street artists meet the art of Salvatore Ferragamo – Millo, Gola Hundun, Tellas, Giulio Vesprini and Milu Correch.

The Brazilian artist was travelling in our country, where he brought his characters able to wake up emotions and reflections through his personal style between comics, graffiti from the nineteens and illustration. Politics, relationships, society and feelings inside the artist’s paintings, who talks to the people through simple images but with a remarkable expressive power.

Generous in painting and human relationships, Alex Senna embraced the genuine and relaxed spirit of southern Italy, leaving an artwork that shows the full comprehension of it.
On a bench, like these that you can see in Bonito and in the others Italian neighborhoods, an older man quietly looks at a bird, a symbolic element of Alex Senna’s work. The artwork offers an easy and universal reading and gives new life to the wall, reminding us how the simple life is still a very important value.

Collettivo Boca
Collettivo Boca is a heterogeneous group made of people united by love for art and proactive attention to the territory.
We are photographers, geeks, serial communicators and street art enthusiasts. We put together ideas and energies in order to build projects for territorial improvement and social involvement.
