The Asalto Festival team have finished their first festival in a small village. This event got together in Alfamén10 international artists from July, 21st to 30th. Thus, they continue with a consolidated trajectory of connection with the urban art.
Artists: Reskate (Spain), Camilo (Uruguay) and Flo (Uruguay), from Colectivo Licuado, Nicolás Alfalfa (Uruguay), Koctel (España), Animalitoland (Argentina), DOA (Spain), Isaac Mahow (Spain) and Muere (Spain).
This festival has created cultural heritage in a place where there are no tourist or cultural attractions. As the mayor of Alfamén, Alejandro Gil says, “we understood that we could create art on our walls by transferring the concept of ephemeral art that we see in large cities, to a small town.” Mayor of Alfamén, Alejandro Gil says, “we understood that we could create art on our walls by transferring the concept of ephemeral art that we see in large cities, to a small town.”
The curators and production team of the festival are the same team that organizes the international festival of urban art Asalto in Zaragoza and that have now been nominated for the 2017 European Festivals Association 2017.
