Chris Versteeg is a dutch artist, graphic designer and illustrator based in Rotterdam. He runs design studio Projekt C and is chief editor and publisher of Street and More magazine.
He started painting in his skateboarding days and got in touch with graffiti in the early 90ies which became his true love for years. After graduating from the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam he went on to study at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, but dropped out after one and a half years to start working. He recalls that as his ‘best decision ever!’. Nowadays he spends most of his time in his design studio working on illustrations, magazines, books and paintings. But from time to time he still sneaks out to go painting on the street. His current work, both digital and manual, is a good mix of clean graphic style with natural and industrial touches and some graffiti and big city life elements.
