UrbanAct.gr just finished the first of a series of important actions in the areas hit by last year’s deadly wildfire in Agia Marina, Mati and Marathon, in Greece. The organisers started this new project at the elementary school of Agia Marina, which was fire-stricken in the summer of 2018 with devastating effects. In this school the children that attend it, experienced last year the deadly wildfires. This action aims to decorate the school buildings as well as inspire the young kids with hope and colour, feelings that where traumatised, from their horrible experience. Hope for the future and colours in an otherwise destroyed environment!
It all happened with the participation of the School Committee Municipality of Marathon, Primary School and the participation and support of the Parents and Guardians Association of Agia Marina Municipal School official.
