FALL RIVER – MURAL PROJECTS – Looking for mural artists!
Creative Arts Network Inc., C.A.N. invites artists to a half day retreat to learn about the opportunity to paint on some of the most amazing walls in Fall River.
The project is a collaboration between Creative Arts Network Inc., C.A.N., UMass Dartmouth, Green Futures, Mass In Motion and Shane Landing LLC. We invite you to explore a city with an eclectic mix of history, culture & architecture.
All artists are invited to attend!
The birthplace of Lizzie Borden, the Home of the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). Fall River, MA offers a compelling collection of architecture infused with a rich history and diverse ethnic cultures. The city’s unique heritage can be experienced through its neighborhoods each bearing a distinct rich history and identity.
Looking for muralists to help tell the story of what was one of the most prosperous cities in the United States.
Meeting date is April 30, 2019 1:00pm -5:00pm, Creative Arts Network Inc., C.A.N.’s office located at 385 Columbia Street, Fall River, MA 02721
This half day meeting will include a light lunch welcome, presentations by wall owners and organization followed by Q&A, transportation to wall locations, application process including competition guidelines, wrap up.
The winning designs will be featured throughout the city at prominent locations.
