This wall poped up a few weeks ago in Bogotá (Colombia) for @streetprojectsanfelipe a new graffiti tour project in Bogotá. The talented female creator goes by the name Chicadania and she is a plastic artist who started off by making sculptures.Inspired and influenced by her husband street artist Pez, she began to paint murals 3 years ago.
The mural depicts her two kids. For this mural she initialy painted the faces of the kids like superheroes and dressed them as superheros too. The next step was togo out in the streets and take photos of them playing.
Chicadania explains: ”I love evokating the imaginary world that kids invent when they play, just with their imagination and with anything that comes to hand.”
The wall Chcadania has painted is taken from the photos she took of her children playing. She has left the background of the house to remark the urban aesthetic.
This is a great and inspirational piece of street art!
