‘Embers’ is the newest silo art jewel in Eastern Europe which was recently created by the artist Nasimo for a large local wine producer at their winery in Sliven, Bulgaria.
The complete work is the largest mural composition developed in such deep detail on the Balkans ever, as well as the largest silo art in Europe. Its total size is over 1000 sq.metres spanning across 11 silos and one substation and its creation took about 45 days and 600 litres of paint.
The marketing department behind the wine producer proposed the initiative aiming to turn their winery into a modern street art gallery, thus promoting both cultural and wine tourism in the region.
Nasimo is one of the pioneers of the Bulgarian graffiti scene. Starting spraying aerosol paint on walls in the early 90s he is still one of the most proactive graffiti and fine art muralists from the Balkans. The project ‘Embers’ was the biggest and most challenging so far in his career.
