First day of this fascinating festival celebrating its fifth anniversary in the city of Munich. Curated by Chinagirltile and with the support and partners Loomit and @vereinurbanekunst.
It brings together 26 artists from 15 cities and 5 different continents in this edition. A Festival with an inclusive character that supports the LGTBTQIA+ collective.

Hands of the Wall is a special opportunity to discover more of the power and impact of the female artists in street art.

The first day of the festival dawned with cloudy skies but full of good energy.

A tour through all the festival spaces with the participants to discover all the areas of a very interesting venue for its architecture and atmosphere, Werksviertel Mitte.  This place is a new trend quarter emerging on the former industrial site for several years. After the construction work will be finished in a few years, a new modern district has been developed. The “Werksviertel-Mitte” offers a different perspective of conventional Munich, a place where concerts, exhibitions, and a lot of streetart live together.

The group photo in front of the wall where last year’s  streetartist references in the world of urban art such as HERAKUT, Video Oner, Beastiestylez among others.

After the official photo and being surrounded by the Star Wars films, the distribution of the material began in an orderly fashion, where the complexity of the organization of an event of these dimensions could be appreciated thus began the first stains, rollers, cranes, brushes to transform the place with proposals that range from the Stencial, through the muralism, Wastepaste, graffiti, installations…

There is still a lot of festival with workshops, exhibitions, tours… undoubtedly a weekend full of urban art where women

claim their presence in the city.
