Street Art was back in Giardini Naxos with Emergence, International Festival of Street Art and Urban Actions. 2015 was its fourth edition, turning the famous tourist resort of Sicily in an open-air museum.

Conceived and curated by Giuseppe Stagnitta, accompanied in this edition by the art critic and expert in Street Art Julie Kogler, the Festival began on May 29 and ended on June 7 with a concert on the beach by renown German producer and musician Ellen Allien.

The line up of the interventions was rich and varied: eighteen artists from all over Europe were involved, some of them at their first intervention in Italy.

In 2015: CATANIA, 21/30 June 2015 – The project involved ACTION PAINTING CHORAL Site Specific, Street Artist of Fame International, that will transform the group of silos in the Port of Catania in a real MONUMENT OF THE XXI CENTURY. “STREET ART SILO” – designed by Emergence Festival with the care of Joseph Stagnitta – is one of the highlights of the Festival ART I, the large container of multidisciplinary events entered in the homonymous community project, created and directed by The World with the City of Catania , lead agency.
