Christiaan Nagel (b. 1982, Durban), known as NAGEL, is a South African artist, based in London, internationally renowned for his audacious and daring public artworks. Over the past two decades NAGEL has sustained a consistent campaign to install vividly coloured sculptures atop buildings and other tall or seemingly inaccessible structures worldwide. The absurd yet profound manifestations from the enigmatic NAGEL provoke and delight in equal measure.
