I am a visual artist born in 1992 in Faro, Portugal. I currently reside in the capital Lisbon, Portugal. As a figurative painter, the intention of my work is to show a “naked and raw” view of the world. Oil painting allows me to capture individual experiences with a somewhat erotic and explicit concept. My work also incorporates more sensitive and problematic issues such as social exclusion, insecurity and violence. Through the use of unconventional models and poses, where I look for a hidden and raw beauty of each character, working with color and the interaction between light and dark. While oil paintings individualize society, my murals and street paintings aim to cover a broader and more collective environment around our society.
