I have the privilege to travel around the world and paint. Many years ago, while living in New Zealand, I sprayed stencils on old newspapers and pasted them around the walls of my town.
While living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I was able to paint huge detailed stencils that sometimes covered entire houses. Independent of size, all images have a meaning that play with our perception of wealth and identity, that address social issues, privacy, digital and social media and current issues. I think that if you have the opportunity to address a broad audience you should say it out loud or in my case paint it big and disturbing. This might not result in something that makes you smile but at least it will make you think.
