Porruana resident in Oviedo for some years, Nieves González, has a degree in Fine Arts. She currently combines teaching with artistic creation, mainly focused on illustration and painting. Her work is inspired by Asturian tradition and culture, especially in the Llanisca area, where she grew up and where she feels most linked.
All this tradition mixes it many times with current issues, always relating the past with modernity with a casual plastic language that drinks from folklore, punk, kitsch and the world of tattooing.
