Thiago Thipan, Brazilian artist, painter, muralist, born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. 1985 / With his base atelier studio in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, near the sea in Campeche, where Thipan lives researches, studies and produces new artworks. He works with large scale mural paintings, digital illustration, canvas paintings and live performances. Spray paint, brushes and acrylic paint are used for much of his artistic production.
Thipan’s world of symbolism is inspired by nature, animals and by the artistic cultural heritage found within the native people of Brazil and from other countries of the world. Using information he finds in the research, he creates original drawings and paintings. He also studies and learns from the works of the ancient masters of art.
He has painted public art murals in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Niterói, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Ivaiporã, Irati, Fazenda Rio Grande, São Matheus, Francisco Beltrão, Medianeira, Bahia, Argentina, Tokyo, Honfleur and Paris. He travels Brazil and the world to paint murals, canvas for exhibitions, participate in special projects, artistic residencies, festivals and workshops. In art, he found a way of communicating with the world around him. He also hopes to be of service by transforming spaces, giving them more life through colors, with the help of nature elements, and guardian messenger figures who speak of hope, love and faith.
