Telmo Miel, street art duet from the Netherlands, recently presented their latest mural which depicts Rolv Wesenlund (1936 – 2013), a Norwegian comedian, actor, singer, writer and clarinetist. The mural was painted as a commision in honour of his memory in his hometown, Horten in Norway. Titled as ”That Socks”- the mural comes to be added on to a number of great works by TelmoMiel in Norway. (more…)
An abandoned concrete silo looms over The Nations neighborhood, eerie and empty. The historic Nashville landmark was nearly torn down. Instead, it’s becoming the centerpiece of the community’s redevelopment. A 15-story painting is unfolding, revealing an elderly man who lived nearly all his life within sight of the silo. (more…)
Urbanact, with guest artist Same84, completed another public fresco in the context of the launch of Urbanact’s collaboration with the Municipality of Volos. The fresco was implemented in the city’s Swimming Pool and the citizens already enjoy its view. Volos is one of Greece’s main port cities and lately it has turned to street art in an effort to beautify some of its areas. (more…)
Street artist Misha Most finished a 10.800 sq. m. monumental wall painting. This is the largest mural in the world, which belongs to one artist. The project was curated by Sabina Chagina and the Creative association Artmossphere. The mural was presented to the public as part of the urban art festival ArtOvrag in Vyksa, Russia. (more…)
