Spaik is a Mexican street artist who creates colourfull works mainly in Mexico but also in other countries of South America. Spaik uses traditional local themes in most of his paintings as wells as mythical references from native tales.

Honor One writes honor719 and he has been painting in the streets since the 80s. He’s classically trained by students of Norman Rockwell, Grant Wood and French Surrealists. He has two art degrees, including a BFA and an MFA. All of his work is freehand and most of his known art work is done with spray paint. Vitae Viazi are a street art crew (art-collective) from Moscow. The name “Vitae Viazi” comes from the Latin word “vitae” (“of life”) and “viazi,” which is the name of a special ornamental Cyrillic (old slavonic) script. This decorative script was their initial source of inspiration. In fact, the name of the crew should be written with characters of two keyboard layouts “VITAE ВЯЗИ” but it is too tricky to google it, so they choose – “Vitae Viazi”. (more…)
