In the past 8th -9th of April the city of Oostende in Belgium received with open arms the second edition of ”The Crystal Ship” Festival. And the result couldn’t have been greater, it included from huge pieces to small installations, from simple (but incredible pieces) to innovating paintings.
The Crystal Ship is a contemporary art festival that specializes in public space producing over 25 installations, sculptures and murals per year. The Crystal Ship also represents a selected group of visual artists worldwide and responds to their needs in the ever-changing domain of art and culture.
The line up was composed by artists from around the globe that brought new colours, new friends and joy to the Belgium coast city.
Artists attending included: Alexis Diaz (PR); Axel Void (US); Bosoletti (AR); Buck (BE) ;C215 (FR) ; Hell’O Collective (BE) ; Hyuro (ES); Jaune (BE); Johannes Mundinger (DE) ; Levalet (FR) ; Nelio (FR) ; Nuart presents Henrik Uldalen (NO); Outings Project (FR); Pastel (AR); Phlegm (UK); Ricky Lee Gordon (SA); Schellekens & Peleman (BE); Sebas Velasco (ES); SpY (ES); Strook (BE).
Below, Isaac Cordall brought his little figures and spread them around the city. Open eyes are needed if one dosnt want to miss the amazing work this artist.
Another artist that made a difference was Argentian artist Bosoletti, who brought another perspective to street art. His piece needs to be digitally changed in order to see what the artist intended to show. In the photos below you can see what needs to be done to see the “full picture” of this piece.
Overall an amazing open gallery is there to be visited.
