The fifth mural in the context of the 5th International Street Art Festival of Patras ArtWalk 5 is now ready! Street artist, Leandro Bustamante aka El Reina, who traveled from Uruguay to Greece, created an impressive mural in the urban fabric of Patras.
The wall of the apartment building at 208 Venizelou Street in Patras, is now adorned with one of his unique creations.
Human relationships are at the heart of the mural created by Leandro Bustamante, especially human contact and the way it is shaped in difficult conditions, such as the one we are now going through with the pandemic. The characteristic color palette that the artist uses in all his works, as well as the “fragmentation of his canvas” at different levels, gives the meaning of constant movement, just as human relationships are constantly evolving and are never static.
The two human figures facing each other seem to fight with each other, to hug or dance or even to observe each other, as we all observe ourselves, as he evolves through time.
