B-LOCAL exhibition represents a meaningful statement for giving support to the local artistic scene in Barcelona, during these difficult times.
A total of 80 artists who work with different disciplines: graffiti (Sawe, Musa, Kamil Escruela…), illustration (Amaia Arrazola, Jaume Montserrat, Twee Muizen…), muralism (Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada, Roc Blackblock, Slim Safont…), abstract painting (Spogo, Anna Taratiel, Kenor…), figurative (Miquel Wert, Elisa Capdevila, Ru8icon…), photography (Julie Morize, Dr. Case, Rockaxson…), graphic design (Aleix Gordo, Inocuo…), instalations (Octavi Serra…), although a lot of them combine several techniques and have their artistic origins in graffiti. 99% of them work, live and/or come from Barcelona and its surroundings, hence the show is called B-LOCAL.
B-LOCAL brings together 80 artists in a line-up where a diversity of styles, stories, techniques abounds, all adding up in a geographical drawing that allows us to understand the local mural art. Most of the works were made in the context of the pandemic, during or after the period of absolute confinement.
‘B – L O C A L’ is the collective exhibition linked to “B-MARKET”, the independent art fair that B-MURALS proposes to support local artists (date to be confirmed).

According to the latest restrictions caused by COVID-19 in Catalunya, B-MURALS had no choice but postpone ‘B-MARKET’, plus almost all the activities scheduled at the beginning, in order to guarantee not only a high level of safety for all the people involved in the project, but also aiming to get the best possible results for the selected
artists and the potential audience of the event.
‘B – L O C A L’ exhibition, as well as the parallel activities, will be taking place according to the sharp compliance of the security protocols imposed by the pandemic.
‘B – L O C A L’ wll be available for a limited time of 2 or 3 months approximately, depending on the evolution of the sanitary emergency.
