Every year CHEAP organizes a Street Poster Art Festival divided in two main components: pieces by guest artists and an open Call for Artists.

CHEAP selects guest artists to create site-specific work articulated throughout Bologna’s urban and suburban landscape.Through the annual Call for Artists, the festival creates a space for participation: the call targets not only street artists but also graphic designers, photographers, illustrators and visual artists in general. Each year’s call has a specific theme, and the selected pieces are printed as 70x100cm posters and displayed on a series of public notice boards in downtown Bologna.
