CityLeaks is one of the leading Urban Art Festivals worldwide, showcasing a diverse variety of contemporary urban art through its interdisciplinary program. National and international artists visited Cologne in 2011 and 2013 following an inivitation by the festival. This year CityLeaks is going into its third round from September.

CityLeaks 2015 also turns to installation, performance art, urban hacking and new media as further forms of urban artistic expression. In debating the public space, the overlapping and merging of the urban with the virtual and their mutual impacts are also considered. This year, complementary to the projects in public space, CityLeaks also presents an indoor group exhibition, housed at the festival headquarters at Carlswerk in Mülheim, Cologne.
