The international festival, Meeting Of Styles is back in 2017 in Perpignan for its 8th edition. The only French stage, organized by the association U.I.S.C, will be present from 24 June to 2 July at the Arsenal in Perpignan. The event will take place in two stages, starting with the SHOW LIVE GRAFFITI from 10am to 9pm on the weekend of June 24th and 25th, followed by the EXHIBITION of the works realized from 10h to 21h the following week.

The World Tour
Considered the best Graffiti event ever created, the Meeting Of Styles Festival has been traveling the world since 2002. Its purpose is to convey, through its works, a message of peace, unity, and love. Therefore MOS is not only a forum where artists, purists and graffiti lovers meet, it is a public event aimed at making culture accessible by its gratuitousness. The festival promotes intercultural exchanges and also promotes all the disciplines belonging to the urban culture.

The originality of this festival lies in the fact that it offers visitors a real artistic performance in live !! Indeed it is rare to be able to admire an artist at work. The theme chosen for the 2017 World Tour is Age of Abundance.

The MOS France 2017
As every year since 2011, the festival puts its suitcases in Perpignan within the walls of the Arsenal, a listed building, which makes MOS France one of the most prestigious stages of the world tour. A selection of 50 international artists will be present and they will come to express their talent on oversized wooden structures which will constitute at the end of the weekend a true gallery of art to the open sky.

This year graffiti will be honored by the U.I.S.C. However, visitors will still be offered a multitude of animations such as the impossible to circumvent battles of graffiti “What’s my name”. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the presence of the Cinemos, which will showcase documentaries and films on Street Art, as well as the Culture Station, which will compete for drawings and which will host the Free Zone graffiti, the urban library and many exhibitors.

Several international artists recognized around the world are expected this year, and the opening of the Rigaud Museum on the same date will make Perpignan, for a weekend a world capital of art, “center As my Salvador Dali would say. It must be said that the relationship between art and Perpignan is rich, many artists have been inspired by the exceptional territory of this region and have brought to light this city. The MOS represents a real added value to the cultural offer of Perpignan and gives it a young and dynamic image.
