Parees Fest 1st edition , that will take place during the first 2 weeks of October in Oviedo (Asturias), north of Spain, had an anticipate beginning with italian artist Agostino Iacurci painting a 12 metres wall last week.

 

Next artist hitting a big wall in Asturias will be Anna Taratiel ‘OVNI’, from Barcelona, who will be displaying her abstract forms and bright colours from October, 6th to 12th.

Other artists involved in Parees will be Spogo, Elisa Capdevila, E1000, Susie Hammer, Bitxo, Xav or Bastián Prendes, among others.

Apart from this, 10 finalists have been chosen for having a chance to paint the wall about legendary local writer Leopoldo Alas Clarín. 70 artists from 21 nationalities applied to the competition whose winner will be announced next October, 9th in the Fine Arts Museum of Asturias.
