“Urban Memories” is a dialogue between past and present, between art and public spaces. In 2016 celebrates its fifth edition, and the opening of our exhibition area in Gaeta Piazza Traniello “Street Art Place – Urban Gallery”

Memorie Urbane was born in 2011,  Project by  David Rossillo, president of Creative Tourism who has always been a supporter of contemporary art as an element of cultural dynamism and socio-economic growth strategy, cultural and tourist. The objetive  of the project is to show the contemporary art practice and in particular the urban art, as art border, placing it in close contact with the region in order to stimulate a process of interaction and mutual contamination.

The event on March 13th, which marks the start of the fifth edition of the Festival, is just a taste of the new season of street art; it will last until the end of October, with crowning events from May 20th to June 5th, 2016. It will gather more than 30 international artists of the caliber of 1010, Bordalo 2, David Oliveira, Deih, ECB, Freddy Sam, Ino, Isaac Cordal, Lonac, Louis Masai, Sepe and Chazme.

This year, the initiative fosters even more the interaction with the territory, earning the title “Urban Festival” and involving several Italian municipalities, including: Cassino, Fondi, Formia, Gaeta, Santi Cosma e Damiano, Terracina, Valmontone, Ventotene.
