VukovART, street art festival in Vukovar, in Croatia, will be held from May 15th to June 15th for a fifth time in a row!
In recent history, Vukovar became known for the heroic resistance and complete destruction of the city during the war in 1991, but it became a symbol of resistance and defiance of the Croatian people.
VukovART is a new concept of the city that is changing the visual identity of the city making it a beautiful place to live. In addition to the local community, tourists also enjoy the the city’s open-air gallery. Vukovar, city on river Danube, becomes an art harbour!
Artists Boa Mistura (Spain), BustArt (Switzerland), Jana Brike (Latvia), Mr Woodland (Germany), Victor Splash (Russia), Artez (Serbia), Juandres Vera (Mexico), Kerim Musanović (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Marion Ruthardt (Germany) and Sumski (Croatia) are ten artists who will come this year to give their contribution to the growing visual content of the city.
So far, Vukovar has 23 urban street arts made by 21 artists from all over the World (3DFilip, Zabou, Vera Bugatti, Eduardo Relero, Cuboliquido, Marina Capdevila, Ella & Pitr, Boogie, Lonac, OKO and many others).
During the festival there will be numerous lectures, workshops, concerts, expos, movie nights!
