Deciphering Streets Through Art

A new book about street art & graffiti by Save or Cancel publishing house which continues researching, mapping, and publishing the street art & graffiti phenomenon, with a new volume entitled “Deciphering Streets Through Art″.

The editorial project proposes a carefully curated and updated collection of recent urban culture, presenting over 70 of the most significant street art works, documented photographically and through interviews with local artists such as Aito Kitazaki (Japan), Aleksi Ivanov (Bulgaria), Biex, Bilos (Greece), Bona Berlin (Germany), BTA (Moldova), Erps, Homeboy LDJ, Ino (Greece), Juan Jose Surace (Argentina), Kero, Mishka the Mouse (Bulgaria), Msero, Normski (Ukraine), Ohboy, Oksen, Ortaku, Pisica Pătrată, Sr Papa Chango (Mexico), Sunshiners (Bulgaria), Sweet Damage Crew, Twee Muizen (Spain), Whyx and many others.

In the pages of the book “Deciphering Streets Through Art″, street art, graffiti and urban explorations enthusiasts will discover a series of extensive interviews with Tobias Barenthin Lindblad (editor and lecturer, Dokument Press – Sweden), Felipe Pantone (Spain), Jan Kalab (Czech Republic), Vhils (Portugal), Jana Danilovic (Serbia), Mister Thoms (Italy), iZZY iZVNE (Moldova), J.Ace (UK), Aeul, Saddo and Wanda. These artists began their careers many years ago and have evolved with the movement, witnessing and observing many fascinating things, which they have shared extensively in interviews.

“Deciphering Streets Through Art″ is a remarkable publication that helps artists, locals, and tourists alike discover new dimensions of cities through the effervescent and evolving alternative culture.
