Village Underground Lisboa is a platform for culture and creativity that is originally from London (Village Underground London was established in 2007) and arrived in Lisbon by the hand of Mariana Duarte Silva.

The space is full of shipping containers, that were transformed to be used as creative spaces (meeting rooms and offices), and two old Carris buses converted in cafeteria and meeting room.

VU brought a new visual to the city of Lisbon, with the containers painted and the walls surrounding by artists such as:
