Muros Tabacalera 2016 – Madrid Street Art Project

Two years after the first edition, Muros Tabacalera has changed the streets  of lorieta de Embajadores, Miguel Servet and Mesón de Paredes.

“Two years after the first edition of Muros Tabacalera, the landscape in Glorieta de Embajadores and Miguel Servet and Mesón de Paredes streets has changed again.

“Between the 14th and the 22nd June 2016, 25 street artists carried out their artistic interventions with a common leit motiv “Urban Nature”. With this proposal, we wanted to reflect and think about the problems and difficulties of life in the cities, among which are the general lack of green areas and both enviromental and acoustic pollution. The aim was to somehow revert this state of things, even methaforically, through artistic interventions which would bring Nature to the grey walls.”

You may consider a modest donation — however much you can afford, when it comes from the heart, it’s the kind of gesture that makes us warm with appreciation.
