Le M.U.R. is an important tradition in the street art scene in Paris and it’s strictly connected to the neighborhood in which it leaves and evolves. With the idea of a temporary intervention (that’s part of Le M.U.R. concept), NEVERCREW decided to realize something connected both to the idea of time and related in a direct way to the location. As the Swiss based art crew describes it: ” We then took a sort of photograph of the moment, recording a situation that disappeared in the same moment in which we looked at it and that’s now only recalled in its reflection. A living mirror stuck in a close past, showing a reality outside, behind and within that’s changing quickly and whose change is related to what’s around it.
Title: “Sensing machine n°3”
Mural intervention realized at Le M.U.R., historical institution of street art in Paris (France), 2018.
On the 4th of May NEVERCREW will inaugurate “Incidence”, a solo exhibition at the GCA Gallery in Paris.
For this event, NEVERCREW created a new series of artworks, focusing on the idea of relationships as well as effects and consequences. “Incidence” is about visible and invisible, true and contrived, in the connection between humankind and nature, with natural beings and with the territory, with the environment and with systems.
