New Anthea Missy mural in London 2018-03-28

New Anthea Missy mural in London

New Anthea Missy mural in Hackney Wick, East London titles ´Natura est ars Dei ‘- Nature is God – shows a female character touching leaves of a tree where the trunk is also a human arm. The symbol seeks to convey the connection between Mankind and vegetal species.

The colourful organic work inspires a watery vibe making the connection with the canal that runs through Hackney Wick. All in all, the piece appears like embedded in its context as it’s surrounded by ivy and natural biodiversity in harmony.

The main message of the mural is to remind us that ‘we are nature’. On a personal level, the artist is engaged in influencing co creation of a green public space with Mixelles project in her city, Brussels.
