Sophia Hirsch and Johannes Mundinger where recently invited to Atlantic City to paint a mural right at the boardwalk, 20 feet from the beach. The mural, the biggest in town so far, is a collaboration with an unknown artistthat had painted three panels on the wall, showing absurd sceneries that had taken place in Atlantic City.
Sophias work talks about political activist Helen Keller. Despite being deaf-blind she campaigned for women’s suffrage, labour rights, socialism, anti militarism and other causes.
Organized by 48 Blocks Atlantic City, with the support of Zach, Joyce, Naim, Loryn Sherry, Kevin and Ruben.
Photos by Ruben Garcia, Zach Katzen and the artists.
