The project ”Arte urbano para todxs en Villaverde’‘ was developed by Madrid Street Art Project during November and December 2016, with the collaboration of the District Board, Madrid Activa cultural program, La Unidad de Villaverde Este Neighborhood Association, and Santa Petronila Cultural Center.

The project started with the workshop “Postales para un barrio” (Postcards for a Neitghborhood), directed by Dos Jotas, and it followed by a series of 6 artistic interventions, carried out in the streets of Villaverde by artists Ampparito and Digo Diego. Finally, an Open Painting Day was held, where neighbors, artists and graffiti writers could express themselves on a huge wall.

All the residents of Villaverde Bajo help out with their participation, La Unidad de Villaverde Este Neighbour Association and Santa Petronila Cultural Center showed a great support and the District Board and Madrid Activa made this project possible.
