It took about 3 weeks from the first brush stroke till the moment, that the ibug´s doors closed again behind the last visitor. Beforehand month of organization and dozens of weeks of hard work had to be done. An effort, that guests and ibug-fans obviously appreciated.

German artist Mark Gmehling has recently finished his latest masterpiece! The work was commissioned by the city of Weil am Rhein and was curated by Stefan Winterle from Colab Gallery. Mark’s idea was to implement the windows to give Bayer str. 6 an enormous smile.

On the 6th of June the art-festival „Sinnlichkeit“ opened in the fromer Jail in Magdeburg. ”Sinnlichkeit” was one of Germany’s biggest art-festivals in 2015. For the opening more than two thousand visitors entered the jail.
