After several months, Dan Ferrer was able to return with his art to the streets. With the opportunity of the International day for children rights, he created an inspiring mural titled: “The Dreamer” (acrylic and spray on wall, 11×4 m.)
[”I made this work coinciding with the international day of the child rights. I wanted to capture one of the fundamental rights: “Access to education” represented by a child sleeping peacefully on a bed of books (some of the ones that personally influenced me the most during my youth).
A composition that is covered under the light bulb of Picasso’s Guernika, which in this case instead of lighting up a scene of horror, illuminates the child with knowledge, in a tenuous atmosphere of rest and protection.”]
