The title of Yasja‘s latest project is`Into the Freezer’. Created in Iceland Yasja explains what a wonderful experience it was for her in many different ways.
The Freezer is a hostel, art residency and theatre in Snæfellsnes, totally in the west of Iceland. Her mural presents dancers, musicians and actors who work driven by their passion. They are connected with each other by the northern lights: A natural flow of music and movement.

For the young female artist at times it was very hard to work outside in the Icelandic harsh weather conditions. The wind and rain were intense.. On the other hand the Icelandic landscapes are amazing. At times it felt like that she was in a kind of science-fiction movie. Surrealistically beautiful!

Yasja now states that she has a lot of inspiration for new upcoming murals and art.
